Staff and Volunteer Application

Staff and Volunteer Application

The success of any Ultimate tournament depends largely on the dedication, passion and experience of the staff who manage and deliver the event.

The body who will oversee and manage the WMUC 2020 event is the Tournament Organising Committee (TOC). The hosts are proud to have such an experienced and passionate group of individuals planning and building WMUC 2020.

Volunteer Staff Application

The bulk of the workforce at any Worlds event are volunteers. WMUC 2020 would like to recruit 70+ volunteers to work at the event. We are hoping to recruit these volunteers from the local area, around Australia and from around the world!

Volunteers are required to attend the following activities as part of their commitment to the event:

1 day orientation activity and assist with setupFriday 4th Sept. 2020
Event deliverySaturday 5th Sept – Saturday 12th Sept. 2020
1 day post event packup, debrief and volunteer social event.Sunday 13th September, 2020

We require our volunteer staff to commit to the full event, however we also recognise that some volunteers may be willing but unable to commit to the full program. We would still like to utilise these volunteers wherever possible and encourage them to also apply.

The TOC also recognise that volunteers need to be looked after, recognised and rewarded as much as possible. We know that if our volunteers love their jobs and love their experience, they will in turn provide the best service to the players and participants.

All of the WMUC 2020 volunteers will receive the following volunteer package:

  • Onsite Accommodation x 10 nights (Check-in Fri. 4th Sept. & Check-out Mon. 14th Sept.)
  • 3 x meals per day x 10 days (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Snacks and drinks
  • Uniform (WMUC 2020 official staff shirt)
  • Party and venue access (to all parties and social functions)
  • Volunteer pack and gift.

Volunteering at WMUC 2020 will be the very best (and most cost effective) way for family, friends and supporters of Masters Ultimate to participate in the event.

*NOTE:  Volunteers MUST be at least 15 years old during the event.  Any junior volunteers (15yo-18yo) must be accompanied by an event-accredited parent or guardian (ie: that parent/guardian must be present full time at the event as either a Player, Guest or Staff member).

Volunteer applications are invited for any and ALL people interested. If you are interested in volunteering at WMUC 2020 please complete and submit the following form:
